How to move your studio off spreadsheets (without losing your data)

Plenty of trainers run their whole studio on a spreadsheet, and honestly it works — until it doesn’t. The data is fine; it is the upkeep that grinds you down. Every booking, every attendance mark, every payment is a row you have to type in by hand, usually late at night, from memory. The instinct is to rip the spreadsheet out and replace it. The spreadsheet isn’t the problem — the data entry is

A spreadsheet is a perfectly good place to store your studio’s records. What hurts is being the person who keeps it up to date in real time while also coaching. Separate those two jobs — storage and data entry — and most of the pain disappears without you losing the tool you already trust.

Keep the sheet you own
